During the more than 20 years since its founding, PharmaMar has amassed a marine organism library containing over 85,000 specimens, has discovered 700 new chemical entities, and has identified 30 new families of compounds. In the course of this work, PharmaMar has applied for or received over 1800 patents, and has devoted 450 million euros to R+D+i, bringing to market Yondelis® and developing a pipeline of other promising anticancer treatments.
