Aimed at promoting identical employment opportunities for both women and men, the Equality Plan is one of the priority objectives of PharmaMar´s corporate policy. Spain’s Equality Act contributes to continuously improving the situation of female personnel in PharmaMar today, now representing 58% of group staff. PharmaMar has now drafted a document on the company’s position, measures and objectives orientated towards female staff continuing to enjoy true equality which, in practice, means a fair deal as regards their opportunities and the treatment they receive.
Standing Committee on Equality
The Standing Committee on Equality is parity-based between employer’s and workers’ representatives. Its objectives include promoting moves to provide information for the staff and raise awareness; giving support through diagnosis of the group’s current position on equality of opportunity from a gender perspective, and drafting and monitoring the Equality Plan.
