PharmaMar is promoting a global network in which over 60 research centres and universities in marine biology and chemistry of cancer biology participate, in order to accelerate research into its extensive collection of potentially active agents. This network includes marine biology and biochemical centres, which have facilitated access to marine samples (microorganisms and macroorganisms), as well as world-class basic and clinical science researchers.

 

The objective of the subsidiary of the Zeltia Group is to establish relations with local governments and institutions for the exploration of local biodiversity and to implement joint programmes for pharmacological discovery and clinical development of its anti-cancer compounds.
 
Equally important is the company's commitment to establishing collaborations within the framework of clinical development and developing the molecular base of the mechanisms of action of our anti-cancer compounds. Around 100 universities, hospitals and scientific institutions worldwide collaborate with us within the area of clinical development.
